Procter & Gamble Doubles Down on DEI: “This Cannot Change”
As some companies quietly scale back their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, Procter & Gamble (P&G) is taking a different approach: doubling down.
In a recent statement to The Enquirer, CEO Jon Moeller made it clear that DEI remains core to P&G’s business strategy.
“Equality and inclusion is good for our business … this cannot and will not change,” Moeller said. “It’s critical to who we are and what we do, to our principles, values, and purpose, and most importantly to winning.”

Feb 17, 2025: In a statement to The Enquirer, CEO Jon Moeller said the following:

Feb 10, 2025: The company shared several awards it won for inclusion.
Aug 23, 2024: Released its annual report with a section dedicated to DEI:
“As a consumer products company, we believe that it is important for our workforce to reflect the diversity of our consumers worldwide. We also seek to foster an inclusive work environment where each individual can bring their authentic self, which helps drive innovation and enables us to better serve our consumers. We aspire to achieve equal gender representation globally and at key management and leadership levels. Within the U.S. workforce, our aspiration is to achieve 40% multicultural representation overall as well as at management and leadership levels.”
Jun 30, 2024: The company updated its workforce metrics by race.
Jun 3, 2024: The company released a blog titled, “Reflecting on P&G’s Longstanding Commitment to Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality and Efforts to Better Serve the LGBTQ+ Community.”
