CVS Deleted Its Supplier Diversity Page & Team

CVS Health quietly deleted its “Supplier Diversity” webpage some time in February 2025. A link to the page still exists on CVS’s main DEI page, but the link redirects to CVS’s homepage.

CVS Health Removes Supplier Diversity Page

In February 2025, CVS Health deleted its “Supplier Diversity” webpage without announcement.

• As of March 4, 2025, the page no longer exists

Here are some statements that were included in the page:

We are working to create jobs and increase economic opportunities for the people and local businesses in the communities we serve. We source products from diverse, women-owned and small businesses.

Our Supplier Diversity team partners with our business units to integrate supplier diversity into procurement activities, and with national organizations to identify and develop diverse businesses.

Supplier Diversity Titles Have Been Stripped From Leadership Team

On the now-defunct supplier diversity page, there was a section dedicated to the “CVS Health Supplier Diversity team.”

One of the four members of the team left the company. The other three have titles on LinkedIn that do not match what is said on the supplier diversity page and do not include “diversity” in the titles.

• Monette Knapik: Executive Director, CVS Health Supplier Diversity
  • New title: Director Operations at CVS Health
• Edwin Alvarez: Senior Manager, CVS Health Supplier Diversity
  • New title: Supplier Engagement Senior Manager
• Gianna Vallante: Senior Manager, CVS Health Supplier Diversity
  • New title: Senior Manager, Supplier Engagement
• Nicole Van Valen: Senior Manager, CVS Health Supplier Diversity
  • Left the company in Feb 2024

Summary

CVS Health has removed its Supplier Diversity webpage and changed the titles of its supplier diversity leaders.

CVS still has an active DEI team and program, but it is shrinking.
