Hi, I’m Henry, the founder of Buildremote.

After a brief stint in the office from 2011-2013, I’ve worked remotely ever since. I also ran a profitable, fully remote company from 2016-2022 with people across five time zones.

I started Buildremote in late 2020 after reading bad advice after bad advice about how to run a remote company from people who just started working remotely.

Originally, Buildremote was a consulting company to help people hire, onboard, manage, and grow a primarily remote business. The workplace was changing quickly and I provided research as a way to attract people to my consulting services.

I learned quickly that the research was what people needed the most.

Leaders don’t necessarily need consulting to navigate the remote work revolution. They need data, benchmarks, and real stories to make their own decisions.
