LinkedIn Deleted Its DEI Page, Now ‘Belonging’
LinkedIn has made a subtle but significant change to its public stance on DEI.
What is the state of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at LinkedIn? Here’s everything you need to know.
LinkedIn Removes Its DEI Web Page
Some time between January 8 and January 12, 2025, LinkedIn deleted its Diversity and Inclusion webpage.
The page used to sit at this URL: careers.linkedin.com/diversity-and-inclusion. That page now redirects to a more generic page called “Belonging.”
According to Wayback Machine, the DEI page was live on January 8, 2025. Since then, the page no longer existed.
On January 12, 2025, LinkedIn set up the “Belonging” page. This new page does not include any mentions of “diversity,” “equity,” or “inclusion.”
