Etsy Deleted Its DEI Page In February 2025
As of March 10, 2025, Etsy’s DEI web page is no longer live. The DEI page was accessible as recently as January 31, 2025, according to the Wayback Machine.
Currently, attempts to access the page result in a 404 error (meaning the page does not exist).
According to Google, Etsy put up a new page called “People” on February 4, 2025. This page includes some language around diversity and inclusion, but has removed all DEI references and goals that used to be on the old page.
Etsy Drastically Cut Back On DEI In 2024 Annual Report
On February 22, 2024, Etsy released its 2023 annual report (10K).
- In the report, the word “diversity” appears 47 times
- A dedicated section called “Employee Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” covered specific goals and metrics around DEI
On February 19, 2025, Etsy released its 2024 annual report (10K).
- In the report, the word “diversity” appeared just 13 times
- The dedicated DEI section was completely removed
