Pfizer Adds New Supporting Language
Pfizer also added some supporting language to its DEI web page. The following sentence first appeared in on the page in late February 2025:
“Our culture of diversity, equity and inclusion is based on merit—one where hard work, talent, and contributions drive success, and barriers to opportunity are removed.”
The company also changed some language around its supplier network
Summary
Pfizer has shifted its DEI language to a merit-based approach. However, it does not appear that the company has made any other changes to the policy other than messaging.
Conclusion: Pfizer’s DEI program is active and unchanged, although language has been updated likely due to the changing legal environment.
