Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. is relocating its U.S. headquarters from Cypress, California, to Kennesaw, Georgia. The move will begin at the end of 2026 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2028, according to AOL.

Yamaha has been based in Cypress since 1979. The company said it will move business functions to Georgia over a multi-year period as it reshapes its U.S. operations.

What Yamaha Said

In its official announcement, Yamaha said the relocation is part of structural reforms intended to improve the profitability of its U.S. operations.

The company also noted that its marine business moved to Kennesaw in 1999 and its motorsports business moved there in 2019, making this headquarters move part of a longer shift toward Georgia.
