Scale New Orleans: Coworking Space Review

My Review Of Scale In New Orleans

I visited Scale New Orleans on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 9:45 AM.

Scale New Orleans, Front DeskRating: 4.8 stars

Scale New Orleans stands out as a beautifully curated, artistically vibrant coworking space ideal for individual professionals likely in art, design, or engineering.

The private offices are fully booked with a waiting list, as of the end of 2023.

Its prime location (next to the WW2 museum downtown), thoughtful design, and comprehensive amenities make it a highly desirable workspace in downtown New Orleans.

I ranked Scale the second-best coworking space in New Orleans!

Community & Vibe

The coworking space has a vibrant, artistic vibe, enhanced by the rotation of local artwork every 3-6 months. It attracts a mix of 60% small businesses and 40% individuals, offering a diverse community.

The space has some an engineering workshop/space with fabrication equipment. It was originally designed for product developers, engineers, designers and artists, and that is still the core of the community. It seems like it has grown beyond that since then, though.

Design & Space

The space is well-lit with plenty of natural light and tons of great plants. The coworking area is thoughtfully designed with zones differentiated by noise levels, ranging from quiet zones for focused work to ‘lively’ areas for collaboration and socializing. The terrace/balcony is a standout feature, offering shade and relaxation spaces.
