How To Calculate A 30-Minute Break In A Work Day

Equation: Start Time – End Time – ½ Hour

  1. Subtract the end time from the start time.
  2. Then, subtract 30 minutes (the break) from the first calculation to get your daily work hours with a 30-minute break.
  3. If you’d like to add up work hours for the full week, add up the result in #2 for each day worked.
