A “team meeting” could mean just about anything: your full team, your full company, your department, or a team dedicated to a certain project. Since it’s such an amorphous term, I built several agenda templates for different types of team meetings:

Weekly Team Meeting Agenda

Purpose: To discuss weekly progress, and upcoming tasks, and address immediate team concerns.
Template:
- Attendees: Entire team
- Frequency: Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
- Duration: 30-45 minutes
Agenda:
- Introduction (5 min)
- Discuss anything that comes up, personal or professional updates
- Progress Update (10 min)
- Have each team member (or rotate by week) update what they are working on
- Review the past week’s accomplishments and highlights
- Discuss challenges and solutions
- Upcoming Tasks and Goals (10 min)
- Outline key objectives for the upcoming week or month
- Assign responsibilities and deadlines
- Feedback and Questions (5 min)
- Open the floor for team feedback and questions
Non-work Meeting Agenda

Purpose: To build personal relationships and company culture without discussing work.
Template:
- Attendees: Entire team (department for large companies, full staff for small companies)
- Frequency: Weekly/bi-weekly
- Duration: 30-45 minutes
Agenda:
- Icebreaker (15 min)
- Pick from several meeting icebreakers that don’t require any prep
- Propose a simple question to get an interesting, non-work discussion going
- Open Discussion (15 min)
- Discuss anything outside of work: travel plans, family updates, etc.
First Team Meeting Agenda

Purpose: To introduce team members, set expectations, and establish team goals.
Template:
- Attendees: Entire Team
- Frequency: One-time
- Duration: 1 hour
Agenda:
- Team Introductions (15 min)
- Brief introduction from each team member (role, location, hobbies, family, etc.)
- New Team Member Introduction (15 min)
- Career
- Role
- Personal talk: Location, hobbies, family
- Team Objectives (15 min)
- Outline the team’s purpose and goals
- Discuss team culture and values
- Roles and Responsibilities (15 min)
- Clarify each member’s role and expectations
All-Hands Meeting Agenda

Purpose: To share company-wide updates, celebrate achievements, and reinforce the company culture.
Template:
- Attendees: All Employees
- Frequency: Monthly/Quarterly
- Duration: 1-1.5 hours
Agenda:
- Company Updates (20 min)
- Announcements from leadership
- Overview of company performance
- Department Highlights (20 min)
- Success stories and updates from various department heads
- Employee Recognition (10 min)
- Acknowledge standout performances and milestones
- Upcoming Goals & Initiatives (10 min)
- Present goals for the upcoming period
- Introduce new projects or initiatives
- Q&A Session (0-30 min)
- Open the floor for questions for the leadership team

Template:
- Attendees: Department Members
- Frequency: Bi-weekly/Monthly
- Duration: 30-60 minutes
Agenda:
