Average base salary: This comes from Payscale. We chose the base salary rather than total earnings because bonus can be subjective based on role and type of company.

Work-life balance rating: This is Buildremote’s own rating that aggregates three separate sources into one:

Glassdoor: Work-life ratings are on a scale of 0-5
Indeed: Work-life ratings are on a scale of 0-5
Comparably: Work-life ratings are on a school rating scale of F-A
